About me

I’m a design-centric thinker who’s curious to learn something about everything. I’m the founder of Mimica, the company I started to bring my invention Mimica Touch to life to help fight food waste.

I am passionate about using my skills for good and the side projects I involve myself in reflect that.

Meeting and supporting startup founders at the start of their journeys is one of my favourite things to do, as I certainly stand on the shoulders of the giants who have helped me along the way.

I am a founding board member of Fast Forward 2030, I consult on sustainability and innovation projects for global clients and I also teach social entrepreneurship at UCL.

I try to live a low impact lifestyle and love taking on repair and restoration projects, I try to spend time in nature when I can and am always up for a board game.

What I work on

Speaking

I give talks globally on using design for good, inclusive design, the future of the food industry, smart packaging and also personal development. I have given talks at TEDx, World Food Convention, Cannes Lions and also at schools.

Innovation consulting

I am able to consult on sustainability, packaging or user-centred innovation projects. I facilitate creative workshops for teams, prepare trend reports and have designed innovation-centric team development programmes for companies. My previous clients include Unilever, Nestle and LG.

Startup mentoring

I am always humbled to be invited as a mentor to startup programmes as it allows me to give back and share my learnings. I have also acted as a judge in idea, pitching and funding competitions.
